The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) as informed us that as of April 1st, 2014 all requests for import permits issued by the CFIA for the Terrestrial and Aquatic Animal Health Division must be submitted to the CFIA Centre of Administration (COA). You may reach the Centre of Administration by telephone at 1-855-212-7695, by fax 289-247-4068 or by email at the following email address Permission@inspection.gc.ca

In an effort to streamline and standardize the process, CFIA has created a Centre of Administration and all applications for import permits are to be channelled through the above address.
We have been instructed that the area office is not to forward the applications to the COA, it is the applicant's responsibility to submit the application to the correct address.
